Growing up isn't for sissies.
Growing up in New England, there was a strong sense of family and a lack of the use of the letter "R." The change of season always brought different emotions. Some friends have described my music as the sound of Autumn, which happened to be my favorite time of year. Where- ever I got the idea to become a musician still haunts me. Mom played piano, I taught myself when she couldn't and then got some lessons in my teens. Seeing no other future (and I mean that not as bleak as it sounds) I went to college and graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Music. I ended up in New Mexico for awhile, drifted out to Cali to 'make it'...as a paralegal for entertainment lawyers (never happened). Then after a God Smack, I began writing songs and, gulp, singing them. All seemed to go well with the band and performing so I thought I'd try it again. Life pushed me in a different direction, however, and I moved back to be with my family (who have migrated to New Mexico - less snow!).
